Rooted Youth exists to help students in grades 5–8 develop strong foundations of faith through relationships, Scripture, and connection with Jesus.
Why Rooted?
We call our group Rooted because this stage of life is all about putting down strong roots.
In grades 5–8, students begin asking important questions about who they are and what they believe. Rooted is a place where they can belong, build healthy friendships, and explore faith in a safe and supportive environment.
We believe that when roots grow deep—through relationships, Scripture, and connection with Jesus—students are prepared to grow strong and continue their journey of faith.

Rooted is launching as a monthly gathering beginning in April 2026, with a vision to grow into a weekly program by September.

What to Expect
Each week at Rooted is designed to be fun, engaging, and meaningful. Students begin with a relaxed welcome and hangout time where they can connect and build friendships. From there, the group transitions into a short time of worship to refocus on God, followed by a teaching and discussion time where students explore Scripture through engaging content, video, and guided conversation—plus snacks. After that, students take part in high-energy games and icebreakers that build community and help everyone feel included. The night wraps up with another hangout time, giving students space to connect, ask questions, and wind down before heading home.

- All leaders are screened and trained
- Vulnerable Sector Checks are required for leadership
- Registration and attendance are tracked
- Safe physical contact guidelines are followed
- Allergy awareness is maintained for all snacks
